©Sebastian Zuber

I am a dancer and a collaborator in the field of contemporary dance and theater. I have performed in venues such as the Finnish National Opera, Stadsteatern Stockholm, Opernhaus Zurich and in many different contemporary dance and theater festivals such as Impulstanz Vienna, Teaterfestival Basel and Tanzwerkstatt Münich. I have worked with choreographers and directors such as Doris Uhlich, Ervi Sirén, Vera Nevanlinna, Sebastian Zuber, Signe Fabricius, Elise Gragerup, Sebastian Baumgarten and Kasper Holten.

I am a founding member, co-producer and performer of international dance collective Yugsamas Movement Collective whose work has been supported by Salzburg Stadt and Salzburg Land and performed in various venues in Austria. Since 2016 I have been working in communication and event managing in Quercimovers association that I'm one of the founder members of. Quercimovers produces annual dance retreats in Corsica for professional dancers and has been aknowledged world wide in the contemporary dance field.

Important part of my artistic practise is teaching. I have taught dance and creative work in various institutions such as SEAD – Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance, Helsinki Dance Company and TREenit ry Tampere. The past two years I have been engaged with the anti-racist and feminist art community UrbanApa in Helsinki where I work as a facilitator in a mentoring group for young artists. I am also a  Vinyasa yoga teacher (RYT200) graduated from HimaHappiness Helsinki.

My passion lies in working with multidisciplinary art projects where different art fields and expertises meet and collaborate with each other. As a performer and collaborator I love to give my 100 percent engagement whether it is on stage, in a dance studio or sitting by the computer on a video call.
